Preston O, Jones, CEO

Preston Jones, Sr, started his law enforcement career in 1991 at the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff's office After graduating the Sheriff's office academy, he was assigned to the special investigation division (SID). He was tasked with investigating in-house and outside criminal activity. After several years at the Sheriff's office. Mr. Jones, was offered a career at Brinks armored trucks in New Orleans in 1994. Mr. Jones, Climb through the ranks and was soon appointed to the management staff.

In 2002, Mr, Jones, was appointed to be the in-house instructor to certify all Brink's employee's. There, Mr. Jones, became a certified driving instructor, Osha instructor, an instruct all employee's on Brinks policy and procedures. Mr. Jones, became a certified Brink's firearm instructor by the Director of Brink's firearms. In 2004, Mr. Jones, attended the National Rifle Association Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor school in Los Angeles. Mr. Jones, became a Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor for handgun and shotgun.

In that same year, Mr. Jones, became certified with the Louisiana State Board of Privacy Security Examiners as an In-House classroom and firearms Instructor. In 2004, Sheriff's Harry Lee, personally asked Mr. Jones, if he wanted to become a part of the Jefferson Parish Office. In January of 2005, Mr. Jones, started the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office academy. After graduating the academy the same year. Mr. Jones, became a member of the Jefferson Parish Office.

After twelve great years at Brink's Armored trucks and receiving several distinguished awards. Mr. Jones, left Brink's Armored trucks at the end of 2005, and began a law enforcement career with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.

In January 2006, Quality Security Training, (QST) was birth by Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones, began training security officer's through out the greater New Orleans area. While continuing working with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. Mr. Jones, became a straight baton instructor and PR 24 instructor.

In 2016, Mr. Jones, was asked by the Director of the JPSO Negotiator's Team Dr. James Arey, to become a JPSO Negotiator. Several months later Mr. Jones, attended the Public Agency Training Council of the National Criminal Justice For Hostage Negotiations Phasas 1, 2, and 3. After Successfully completing all phases Mr. Jones, became a certified Negotiator.

Not only is Mr. Jones, a certified Negotiator, but he counsel officers and victims of crime. Mr.Jones, also works with the New Orleans FBI field Office. Mr. Jones, has attended FBI Head Quarters and Training facility two different times. Through out the years Mr. Jones, has been working with the New Orleans FBI Civil Rights Suad. In 2020, Mr. Jones, was appointed by New Orleans FBI Special Agent In Charge Bryan Vorndran, to work with Supervisory FBI Special Agent Corey Harris, to build and form a Coalition to work with the community.

In 2022, Mr. Jones, received the distinguish FBI Director's award at the New Orleans FBI field office for outstanding work in the community and building partnerships with community leaders on behalf of the FBI. Mr. Jones, still holds this position today with the FBI.

Mr. Jones, is also certified with the Louisiana State police to teach the La. Conceal weapon class. Mr. Jones, is also certified to teach NRA Home firearm safety course pistol and shotgun. Mr. Jones, is also certified to teach classroom, firearms, shot gun, straight baton, and the PR24, for the Louisiana State Board of Private Examiners. Mr. Jones, is also certified to teach other disciplines as requested. Mr. Jones, has received training from University College Tulane University Train the Trainer Program, and continues to receive in service training with the JPSO and with Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).
